Heartbeat Pakistan is a social media platform that connects people with one another — regardless of origin, language or location. We create a space in which users can express themselves freely, celebrate their culture, exchange ideas and build genuine connections.

OUR COMMITMENT TO FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION

Heartbeat Pakistan stands for the fundamental right to freedom of expression. Every person has the right to share their thoughts, opinions and beliefs freely — as long as the dignity of others is respected in doing so.

At a time when many platforms censor content arbitrarily or suppress it algorithmically, we take a different path:

No arbitrary censorship — We remove content only in cases of clear violations of applicable law or of our transparent community guidelines.
Transparent moderation — Every warning and suspension is explained. You always have the right to appeal and to a re-examination.
No shadowbanning — Your posts are not secretly hidden or restricted in their reach.
Fair rules — Our warning system gives everyone a fair chance. Warnings are reset monthly.
Community-based moderation — Reporting functions allow anyone to report problematic content.

For us, freedom of expression does not mean that everything is permitted. Hate speech, glorification of violence, terrorist propaganda, pornography and the endangerment of minors have no place on our platform. You can find our complete community guidelines in our Terms of Service (§ 11).

Posts — Share photos, videos and text with the community. Full editor with filters, stickers, music, alt text and @mentions.
Triple Post — Publish a post simultaneously as a feed post, viral video and challenge post.
Viral Videos — Create and discover short, entertaining videos in full-screen mode. Boost your virals with Coins for greater reach.
Stories — Share moments that disappear after 24 hours — with camera, effects and music.
Polls — Create polls with up to four answer options, color scheme selection and an optional expiry date.
Chat & Messages — Messages, images, videos, GIFs, voice messages, stickers and music previews. Transmitted encrypted via TLS.
Gifts in Chat — Send virtual gifts directly to other users in private chat messages.
Audio & Video Calls — High-quality one-to-one and group calls via Agora (global real-time infrastructure).
Community Rooms — Audio and video group rooms with optional recording.
Live Streaming — Start live broadcasts, interact with your community in real time and receive gifts from viewers.
Challenges — Take part in community challenges with specific hashtags or create your own.
Public Profile — Create a public profile with an analytics dashboard, follower system and daily statistics.
Map & Location — Discover content near you on the interactive Social Map (only with your explicit consent).
Coins System — Earn Coins through daily activity, login streaks, community participation and watching ads. Use Coins to boost content, send gifts in live streams and in chat, and unlock features. Early adopter bonus: the first 200,000 users receive 2,000 bonus Coins.
Gifts — Send virtual gifts to other users — both in live streams and directly in chat.
Drafts — Save unfinished posts and continue editing them later.
@Mentions — Tag users in posts and comments using @username.
Music Integration — Add music to posts and stories from Deezer, MusicBrainz and Saavn.
Video Compression — Automatic video optimization for faster uploads and lower data usage.
Offline Cache — Content that has already been loaded is cached locally and remains available even without an internet connection (up to 50 MB).
Islamic Features — Integrated Hijri calendar, prayer times (Namaz) based on your location, Qibla compass, the 99 Names of Allah and prayer notifications with an Azan sound.
Namaz Streak — Track your daily prayers and earn Coin rewards for praying consistently (41-day streak bonus).
Post Translation — Translate post text automatically into your preferred language directly in the app.
Events — Create and share events as highlighted posts with the community.
"For You" Feed — Personalized feed algorithm that shows you the most relevant content.
Sale & Purchase (classified listings) — Create your own listings and discover offers. Publishing is unlocked exclusively with Coins — no real money and no in-app payments for purchases or sales. Private transactions between users are at your own risk; Heartbeat Pakistan assumes no liability or responsibility (see Terms of Service § 6b).
Data Export — Download all of your personal data as a JSON file (compliant with GDPR Art. 20).
Block & Mute — Block or mute users in order to control your experience.
29 Languages — The entire app is available in 29 languages.
Biometric Security — Secure the app with Face ID, Touch ID or fingerprint. Optional PIN lock and chat lock for additional protection.

COINS — WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Coins are virtual in-app items that can be collected through activity. You can use Coins to boost posts, send gifts in live streams, send a gift to friends in chat or publish Sale & Purchase listings. Coins currently have no real monetary value. They do not constitute gambling. The Coins system is in a test phase — you can find further information in the Terms of Service (§ 6a).
