🛡️ Child Safety Standards

Heartbeat Pakistan (available on Google Play and the App Store, package name: com.mobeenkz.heartbeatpakistan) is a social media platform developed and operated by Schwaben Apps.
The safety and protection of children is our highest priority. This document outlines our published Child Safety Standards in compliance with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and Apple's App Store Guidelines.
§ 1 — Zero Tolerance for CSAE
🚫 ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
Heartbeat Pakistan by Schwaben Apps maintains an absolute zero tolerance policy toward Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) — Any imagery, video, or content depicting the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors
- Grooming — Any attempt to establish a relationship with a minor for the purpose of sexual abuse or exploitation
- Solicitation — Any request for sexual imagery, sexual acts, or sexual encounters involving minors
- Sexualization of minors — Any content that sexualizes or objectifies minors in any way
- Sex trafficking of children — Any facilitation, promotion, or coordination of sex trafficking involving minors
- Sextortion of minors — Any coercion or blackmail of minors involving sexual content
Any user found creating, sharing, distributing, storing, or promoting CSAE content will be immediately and permanently banned without prior warning. All associated content will be removed and preserved for law enforcement purposes.
§ 2 — Minimum Age Requirement
Heartbeat Pakistan is exclusively intended for users aged 18 years and older. This exceeds the minimum age requirements of:
- COPPA (USA) — minimum age 13
- GDPR (EU) — minimum age 16
- DPDPA (India) — minimum age 18
- UK Data Protection Act — minimum age 13
We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If we discover that a user is under 18, their account will be immediately terminated and all associated data will be permanently deleted.
§ 3 — In-App Reporting Mechanism
Heartbeat Pakistan provides multiple ways for users to report CSAE content or behavior:
- Content Reporting: Every post, video, Story, comment, and message can be reported using the in-app report button (flag icon). Users can select the reason "Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)" or "Child Exploitation" from the report menu.
- Profile Reporting: Users can report suspicious profiles directly from the user's profile page.
- Live Stream Reporting: During live streams, viewers can report inappropriate content in real time.
- Chat Reporting: Individual messages in chats can be reported.
- Settings → Help & Support → Report a Problem: Users can submit detailed reports with optional screenshots and device information.
All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. Reports related to child safety are treated with the highest priority and are reviewed within 24 hours.
§ 4 — CSAM Detection and Response
When CSAM or CSAE content is identified — whether through user reports, automated detection, or moderation review — Heartbeat Pakistan follows this procedure:
- Immediate removal of the content from the platform
- Immediate permanent suspension of the offending user's account
- Preservation of evidence for law enforcement (content metadata, user information, IP addresses, timestamps)
- Reporting to authorities — We report all identified CSAM to the relevant law enforcement agencies, including:
- NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) — USA
- BKA (Bundeskriminalamt) — Germany
- IWF (Internet Watch Foundation) — UK
- Europol — EU-wide coordination
- FIA Cyber Crime Wing — Pakistan
- INTERPOL (ICSE Database) — International coordination
- eSafety Commissioner — Australia
- Canadian Centre for Child Protection — Canada
- Relevant local law enforcement authorities based on the user's location
- Cooperation with law enforcement — We fully cooperate with law enforcement investigations and provide requested data within the legal framework
§ 5 — Compliance with Child Safety Laws
Heartbeat Pakistan by Schwaben Apps complies with all applicable child safety and child protection laws and regulations, including but not limited to:
- COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) — USA
- GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) — EU/EEA — specifically Article 8 regarding children's consent
- UK Data Protection Act 2018 and Age Appropriate Design Code — United Kingdom
- DPDPA 2023 (Digital Personal Data Protection Act) — India
- PECA 2016 (Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act) — Pakistan, specifically Section 22 (child pornography offences)
- 18 U.S.C. § 2258A — Mandatory reporting of CSAM to NCMEC — USA
- EU Directive 2011/93/EU — Combating sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children — EU
- Digital Services Act (DSA) — EU obligations for content moderation and reporting

§ 6 — Safety Features in the App
Heartbeat Pakistan implements the following safety features to protect users:
- Block & Mute: Users can block or mute any other user at any time. Blocked users cannot view profiles, send messages, or interact in any way.
- Content Filter: Adjustable content sensitivity filter (Normal, Sensitive, Hidden) to control the visibility of potentially sensitive content.
- Friend-Only System: Heartbeat Pakistan uses a friend request system (not public follows). Users must mutually accept friend requests before they can interact closely.
- Moderation Team: All reported content is reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours.
- No Shadowbanning: If content is removed, users are always informed with a reason. Transparency in enforcement.
- Warning & Suspension System: Progressive enforcement (1st: warning, 2nd: 7-day suspension, 3rd: 30-day suspension, 4th: permanent ban). CSAE violations result in immediate permanent bans.
